It seems that it will become a good tradition in the UMM Aquaculture (Fisheries) Study Program, where students are "brokered" by employers to work in their companies before graduating or while still doing their final project.

It has been running for 3 years since 2020. The Study Program has developed a special program that allows industry to be directly present on campus and take part in developing student competencies. Through the flagship program or center of excellence "Shrimp Professional Class" and "Koi Professional Class".

Large industries in fisheries such as PT. Central Proteina Prima, PT. Garin Agro Sejahtera, PT. Koyo Segoro Endah, PT. Summa Benur and more than 10 other large companies joined in developing the program. It's clear that employers are confident in recruiting students "Shrimp Professional Class" and "Koi Professional Class", because they already know very well the quality of the Shrimp and Koi CoE participants. The following are forms of industrial involvement:

  1. Selection of Professional Class Participants
  2. Basic teaching and cultivation practice 1 semester
  3. Guiding a 1 semester professional internship
  4. Testing the competence of post-apprentice participants
  5. Recruiting participants to work in the company
