The Department Students Association (HMJ) of Fishery recently held an event in accommodating futsal lovers to deliver their talents. Taken place at Caesar Futsal Field, Malang, all of Fishery students, lecturers, and also alumni participated in mesmerizing futsal championship in the midst of 2014 Fishery Kajur Cup. Due of many attendances, it showed that this event took the interest of Fishery students.
The event with the theme “Burn Your Spirit, Show Up Your Strategy” purposely held by the Fishery Student Association of talent field especially in order to tie up the good relationship between the students in Fishery department, mainly for the new students 2013/2014 who are new in order to be familiar with their surroundings. Besides giving physically health to the body, this activity also can fertilize sportivity, emotional self-control, and healthy competition.
Futsal Tournament that competing Fishery Kajur Cup will be scheduled annually by Department and Fishery Student Association. As for futsal competition will be 9 teams from many classes, then the tournaments selected 4 teams to continue to the semifinal stage, i.e. classes of 2012, 2013 of A, B, and also 2009.
Semifinal competition was very strict with high tension which then the finalists are selected from 2013 of class A and B. Even they are still young between other fishery students, but their skills are quite encouraging. This futsal competition was won by class year 2013 of B that has been worked hard to obtain this prestigious trophy. The winning euphoria was not only felt by the winner, but also all of the supporters.
“We hoped that this kind of event will continue in the next years with also not only futsal, because there are many ideas that can enliven the Kajur Cup Competition”, said by Yoga, one of the 2012 class academic year students.
“Even our team failed to achieve the trophy, but all of fishery students are happy because beside this event is annually, it can gather all of fishery students from all academic class year which is very rare”, said by Tiyok Susanto the 2011 student who was one of futsal participants as well as the Chief of Fishery Student Association.
